Where is the carpark? The carpark is situated in the adjacent field to the event site and campsite. It is no more than 75m away from the entrance to the festival. Obviously the earlier you arrive the closer you shall be to the entrance.
Can I bring a campervan/caravan or trailer tent? It is a tent only campsite we have an agreement with a local site for those wishing to attend and camp in something other than a tent. Please email email@example.com for more information.
Can we park our cars next to our tents? No, due to the health and safety of our younger campers no vehicles are allowed on the campsite.
Are there washing facilities and toilets on the campsite? Yes
Can we bring our own alcohol to the festival? No. Due to stipulations on our licence neither campers or day ticket attendees can bring any alcoholic drinks to the event or campsite. Spot checks on cars and people will be taking place upon entry.
Can we bring our own food and soft drinks? All soft drinks must be sealed upon entry.
We have carefully selected some of the finest street-food traders from across the country and have something to cater for all tastes. We have a wide selection to choose from including a Vegan Trader offering Gluten free options, a vegan trader, Noodles, Pizza, Burgers, Breakfast, Hog Roast, Crepes, Fresh Fruit, Donuts, Ice Cream, Carribean food, Mediterranean food, Belgium Street Food, along with sweets treats popcorn, candyfloss, freshly ground coffee, cocktails, mocktails and fully stocked bars. Why would you want to bring your own food when you can support such a wonderful aray of local business. Obviously we can’t stop you, we aren’t mean like that! However we can’t promise that you wont want to throw away those same-old-sandwiches in favour of some awesome offerings in our food festival area.
Can we cook next to our tents? No. Due to health, safety and fire regulations cooking must take place in the designated cooking area within the campsite.
Can we bring our dog? We love our furry friends too, however they can not be brought on to the event site or campsite unless they are assistance dogs.
Dunton Hall actually has boarding kennels for dogs. Please check availability, if you need to find your pooch a temporary home for the weekend.
Can we leave the festival and re-enter? Unsure why you would want to, but should you need to please ensure you have proof of tickets ie correct wristbands to re-gain entry and be mindful of the other terms and conditions concerning alcohol. Those attempting to bring alcohol back into the festival will have it confiscated by security.
Also please bare in mind that during busy periods you may not be able to re-gain entry should we reach our maximum capacity levels.
Can we camp next to our friends/save pitch spaces? Should you wish to camp with friends please organise so you all arrive together/ travel in convoy, as pitches can not be saved and they are allocated on a first come first served basis.
Can we bring large tents? Yes, however please bare in mind anything above a 5x3m tent/ extra large tent with living area will require and extra camping ticket to ensure enough pitch space is allocated. Please be aware our maximum tent size is an 8berth tent.
When can we arrive to pitch our tents? Campers, are invited to pitch tents from 12pm on Friday 28th July til 8.30pm. Or Saturday from 10am-1pm. Please see camping terms and conditions for more camping details www.bigfamilyfestival.co.uk/camping
